Add email account to Mail App
This article explains how to add an IMAP email account in the Mail app.
In this example we use the domain deonlinewebsitebouwer.nl. Make sure to replace this with your own domain. The domain is the part after the @ sign in your email address (@examplewebsite.com) or what you type into your browser's address bar (for example, after https://www.).
Add Email to Mail App
1. Go to Institutions on your iPhone.
2. Search in settings for Mail App.
3. Then go to Mail accounts.
4. Click on New Account.
5. Click on Add email account.
6. Choose Other.
7. Enter the following:
• NameYour company name. This is the name that will be displayed when you send an email.
• E-mail: your full email address, for example info@jouwdomein.nl.
• Password: the password for your email account.
• Description: a recognizable name for this email account, so you can easily identify it in the Mail app.
Then click on Next to continue.
NB: The hostname may vary by provider. Therefore, always check the official documentation or ask your email administrator for the correct information.
8. Please fill in the following information:
• Host name: the incoming mail server of your domain, for example mail.yourdomain.nl
• Username: your full email address
• Password: the password of your email account
This information must match your hosting provider's settings exactly. In the example, you see mail.deonlinewebsitebouwer.nl, but use your own mail server.
9. Please fill in the following information:
• Host name: the same mail server as for incoming email, for example mail.yourdomain.nl
• Username: your full email address again
• Password: the password of your email account
These settings correspond to the second screenshot. Here, too, replace the server name with your own mail server.

7. Click on Next and you can use your email.
Your email has now been successfully added to the Mail App.
